Corrine Crocker & William Luby have mutually invested in the purchase of the house located at 82-84 Naubuc Avenue, Glastonbury, Connecticut in October of 2007. They continued to invest in major renovations including partial demolition & gutting 95% of the interior plaster (leaving only a portion the original stairwell’s plaster) to create a modern day building. Retaining the original framing timbers, & decided to provide new plumbing, electrical, heating & cooling throughout the building. It proved to be a labor of Love!
During the early stages of the renovations, Corrine & William have decided on geo-thermal (clean energy) to heat & cool the entire 6,000 square foot house (including a finished basement) – using the earth’s natural resources to do so. Originally, the heating for the house was first a potbelly stove; then second oil heat; then third natural gas heat & now finally geo-thermal energy. Even though the house is a vintage style – it is truly a ‘state of the art’ building. Tiffany Juliet House is taking part in keeping the environment clean.
